United StatesThe good: The saddle is SUPER comfortable to sit in and the leather is very soft so it shouldn't need very much breaking in! There are no instructions anywhere to be found for changing the gullet plates so be prepared for trial and error, though it's not difficult once you figure it out and the system seems very solid like it will last a long time. Love that the billets are nylon lined to prevent stretching and breaking! The bad: The sweat flap scratches easily but it's out of sight and not that big of a deal to me but still knocked it down a star for that bc it's kind of a bummer. The helpful information: The gullet plates do run narrow like french saddles tend to, my horse and my friends horse are normally a mw but both needed the xw (red) plate.
