The Henri de Rivel Vegan-X All Purpose Saddle is crafted with exceptional cruelty and animal free material that will have any expert fooled. This vegan saddle will withstand the test of time throughout all weather conditions, is low maintenance, lightweight and provides superior comfort. Designed with comfort in mind, this saddle offers a moderate deep seat and is ideal for riders of any discipline. The (IGP) Interchangeable Gullet Plate system allows riders to quickly and easily change the metal plate in the head of the saddle tree which allows the saddle to be used on various horses. Gullet plates are sold separately in sizes Narrow, Regular, Medium, Medium Wide, and Extra Wide. All Henri de Rivel IGP saddles come equipped with a regular width gullet.

The selling point for me on this saddle was the interchangeable gullet plate system, which is a super simple switch from one plate to the next. This saddle looks WAY better in person, I am super happy with it! And you can't really beat that price point for a brand new saddle. I love that it came with its own allen key and a little saddle cover too! I recomment this! 100/10

Better than I was expecting! This saddle is lightweight and it looks awesome. I was expecting it to feel more synthetic, but it has a nice, good quality feel and look. Before I decided to purchase this saddle, I read reviews which stated that the saddle seemed very narrow at first, but then decompressed and seemed to fit better after it had been sat in. I would agree with this. When I first put it on my mare, I thought it would be too narrow, but after a few minutes in the saddle it seemed to settle in place and fit much better. Overall I'm very impressed. I would 100% recommend to anyone on the fence to give the saddle a try! Realistically would give it a 4.5/5 because I'm not crazy about the billets.

Super comfortable and wouldn't know it isn't leather unless you touch it. Have a thicc foundation qh mare and I got the wide tree and it fits perfectly. An amazing saddle for the price. Just riding my cutting mare around the property doing pole work and some basic dressage for her core and it was a good choice!

I usually ride in a very high end dressage saddle but after breaking my hip early this year I found trying to ride in my dressage saddle to be very painful due to the way it forces my leg down and back. So, I purchased this saddle as a temporary fix hoping the shorter stirrup and more forward leg position would be more comfortable but I didn't want to spend a lot for something I didn't expect to use for long. To my surprise I am absolutely in love with this saddle! It puts me in a nicely balanced position and is very comfortable for me as well as for my very finicky short-backed Andalusian who has in the past been a nightmare to fit a saddle to! It also looks surprisingly good - very leather-like and nicely finished, and it's so easy to keep clean. I like it well enough that I am considering replacing nearly all my riding school's lesson saddles with this same model saddle. I can't believe it costs under $300! The only negative so far is that when the temperature drops below 45 degrees the "vegan leather" billets get very stiff from the cold.
