Weird ankles

I was so disappointed. The ankles are so baggy. I ordered 9 which is what I normally order. I don't understand why they would be made this way.

Great Boot - With A Few Exceptions

I really like these boots with a few exceptions: -The lining pulls out with your foot and you have to stuff it back in. -The seam is ripping away where the heal part meets the boot leg. I has to be made to stand up to "heals down" without tearing. -It's great for fall and early winter, but if your feet get cold, they will NOT keep them super warm. Plusses: -The fit was great (for me). Calves are slightly larger than regular boots, but it's great for a thicker sock or layering -The leather is good quality -There is a LOT of sole to keep your feet off the cold ground -Zipper is good quality and easy, though I wish it was on the back -Nice width, with round toe - plenty of room for extra layers -Easily fits in your stirrups

The boots fit well. The quality was not super great, but for the price they will be a good first time english boot.

Perfection

I am 5'1" with large calves. I struggle to find tall boots that fit. They are usually too tall or the calf is too small These are absolutely perfect. They are warm, comfortable and great for everyday. I usually wear 8 1/2 but I ordered 9 wide and they fit like a glove. I love them.
