Perfect for a child riding a full size horse

Received the pad promptly and in good condition. Please note that this pad is made for a full size horse, so ignore the "pony" part of the description. I have a small 5 year old granddaughter who is riding my 15.3 hand retired gelding. Pony saddles fit my granddaughter but not my horse. This pad fits them both! It has good support for her in front and back and she says is more comfortable than the pony saddle I have. The stirrups stay in place nicely and probably accommodate almost any length. Very happy with it so far. Also note you will need to provide your own cinch, but I used my regular cinch with no problem. The only potential negative I see is the possibility of the cinch strap breaking free of the pad under duress, as it is simply sewn in. No barrel racing on this!
