A little disappointed when I got them I was expecting the same type I had gotten years ago. that blanket had a strong backing. other than that both blankets are in good shape and are doing the job I wanted Because this is the only place to reply, I would and would not recommend this product. I like the style color and comfort of the blanket, I don't own a horse, but use it for the dogs. I wished that the back side was a little firmer as the old one is.
