The Henri de Rivel Synergy Close Contact Saddle provides a close feel of the horse's back. Ideal for  jumpers or eventers, this saddle features a forward flap and medium deep seat to allow for a correct position and balance over fences. Removable and adjustable knee and thigh blocks can be placed strategically to meet the rider’s needs and encourage a proper leg position for stability over fences. Covered leather provides a soft and grippy texture that accepts oiling and leather conditioners. This saddle boasts a sporty look with signature stitching. The (IGP) Interchangeable Gullet Plate system allows riders to quickly and easily change the metal plate in the head of the saddle tree which allows the saddle to be used on various horses. Gullet plates are sold separately in sizes Narrow, Regular, Medium, Medium Wide, and Extra Wide. All Henri de Rivel IGP saddles come equipped with a regular width gullet.

For returns on saddles, customers have 30 days to make a return. Full refunds will be applied only if the saddle shows no signs of wear, you can see our RETURN POLICY here. If a saddle is not returned in new condition, the refund will be prorated determined upon usage. Return shipping for saddles is at the customer's expense.

Are the knee blocks adjustable or just removable?

The Synergy's blocks are both removable and adjustable — they can be repositioned to best suit your leg length and position over fences.

Does the covered leather require special care?

The covered leather accepts standard oiling and conditioning products. Wipe down after each ride to remove sweat and dirt, and condition regularly for longevity.

What gullet comes with the saddle?

A Regular width gullet is included. The IGP system supports Narrow, Medium, Medium Wide, and Extra Wide sizes, all sold separately.

Is this saddle suitable for dressage?

This saddle is designed for jumping and eventing. For dressage, we recommend the HDR Parisian Monoflap Dressage Saddle.
