I've bought these boots and had to return them because of the size. My second purchase was on Wenesday and they arrived only two days later. I have tried them on my horse yet since i'll get me only in a few days but TOTALY IN LOVE WITH THESE BOOTS! I 100% recommend.
Love these boots for the price! I’ve had Sergio’s for the past 10 years which I love and still wear but the new style is more contoured at the ankle. I wanted the look of parlantis without the price tag and these are it. The leather is a little different but they look like them from afar. No break in time whatsoever. I plan to just show them so they should hold up for a while. I don’t expect them to last like my Sergio’s but for the price you can’t beat it!
I purchased the 10 Wide as I have a wide calf, approximately 16 3/4". My feet are typically an 8.5/9, but calf sizes get roomier the bigger the foot size so I sized up. My feet are certainly not narrow, and I find that the leather of this boot is forgiving enough that my feet don't feel like they're being constricted or binded like some other boots. The size chart on the website says the 10 Wide should measure around 16", but my calves have ample room in these with the elastic panel on the back. It is true that they come with a "broken in" feeling because, let's face it, you're not getting Parlantis for half chap prices. The leather is soft, but it definitely is not the high quality leather you will find on pricier boots. Do I think these boots will last me a decade riding 5x a week? No. But I do not show, ride maybe a couple times a week for 20-30 increments, and think that for the price these boots are a good value. Breeches.com always has coupon codes, so I didn't pay full retail for them. The inner calves have a grippy textured material(leather? I don't know), so I do feel confident they will give some security in the saddle. Bottom line? These are a trendy styled boot, come broken in out of the box, and have a lot of give(calf width and foot bed width). For the price, I think they are certainly worth the money. I recommend them.
