Pop-ups, slide-ins, and other gimmicks

Pop-ups, slide-ins, and other gimmicks are annoying. The boots I purchased fit to size and broke in in no time at all. A treatment with shoe polish and waterproofing spray made them resistant to adverse conditions on the ground.
