Winning Tongue Plate Eggbutt Bit with Normal Plate has joint and arms do not hinge downward thereby preventing pain to the roof, tongue, and bars. The 11 mm low profile gear casing prevents roof rubbing, and the flat plate prevents bit pinching and reduces bit pressure by 85%.
Used in all riding disciplines.

We love them, being using them since they first came out.

Absolutely love this bit!!! Have been riding two OTTB geldings in it. My youngest was extremely fussy and would toss his head with other bits but is much more accepting of the WTP. No rubbing on the top of his mouth and it downs seem to put pressure like other bits. It is very forgiving for young riders.

I've only ridden with this bit once on a fairly short 45 minute trail ride. My horses head carriage was noticeably lower and more relaxed. Honestly, I was truly surprised as I didn't expect to notice much difference and certainly not this quickly. Crossing water will be the real test as this is when he stops, puts his head up in the air and opens his mouth. Time will tell if the bit will rectify that behavior, but in the mean time I'm extremely pleased with our first ride using the WTP bit.
